Who Regulates ENABLE Glasgow?

A number of statutory organisations stay in touch with ENABLE Glasgow in order to make sure that we run our services and our organisation properly.  Some of these are listed below.

Our supported living services are registered with the Care Inspectorate.  It inspects our services every year and issues a report on how these are run.  You can see copies of these reports on our Supported Living pages. 

Glasgow HSCP logo

Our supported flats and Fortune Works are subject to contractual arrangements with Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership.  They ask us for regular updates on how these services are performing.

Scotland Excel logo 

Our Esmond Street and Balshagray House services are subject to contractual arrangements with Scotland Excel.  They ask us for regular updates on how these services are performing.

OSCR logo 

ENABLE Glasgow is a registered charity in Scotland, No. SC021077.  Charities in Scotland are regulated by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.  It makes sure that we run the organisation properly and comply with charity law.

SSSC logo

Support staff in our registered services need to be qualified to the appropriate level and registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).  The SSSC regulates the social care workforce in Scotland.
