As we begin our year of celebrations marking 60 years of working with people with learning disabilities and their carers in Glasgow, this year’s Annual General Meeting will be a bit special. Join us for a buffet lunch at 1.00pm, where there will also be a chance to see Glasgow artist Sarah Leonard’s portraits of our service users. Sarah has been working with us for more than a year, and has produced a body of work that gives us a new insight into how we see ourselves and others. The formal part of the AGM will begin at 2pm, where you can hear about our work over the year, our plans for the future, and how we will be marking our 60th birthday. After the AGM there will be a chance to hear directly from staff and volunteers who work in our front line services on what this work means to them, and to those we support.
