Great Community Turn Out for FW Garden Centre Open Day!

Fortune Works was delighted to be able to host its Garden Centre Open Day on Saturday 7th of May. As you can imagine, this was particularly poignant given the last couple of years of restrictions, with our team being determined to make this year's event extra special for the community.

In addition to our usual festivities, Saturday also saw the unveiling of a colourful new mural. The mural was commissioned by Fortune Works and designed by Glasgow based street artist, Barry the Cat. Everyone involved in the service was very excited to have Barry the Cat involved in designing a mural that encompasses Fortune Works' core values. And we were all very happy that so many people from the community came along to join us for the big reveal.

Overall, the open day was a great success with people having a chance to purchase a range of plants and crafts. There was also a raffle and information stalls from other organisations, including Glasgow City Council, The Big Disability Group and Froglife.

Our garden centre is open to members of the public all year round. For further information, please contact Fortune Works on 0141 944 4383
