How ENABLE Glasgow is Run 

ENABLE Glasgow is run by a Management Committee which is elected by and accountable to the general membership of the organisation.  All Committee members have a direct interest in learning disability, and many are carers, former carers, or service users.  We also seek to attract Committee members who have experience they can bring to the running of a complex organisation. 

We also have a number of Sub Committees that oversee particular areas of our work, and a General Purposes Sub Committee which oversees our financial affairs and internal audit arrangements.  Our service user self advocacy group is Glasgow ACE, which nominates two representatives to the Management Committee.  A diagram of our governance structure is available here.
